Cooler Installation
The Sunon Waturbo was designed for Socket 775 installation, but comes with an AM2 mounting kit. Bolt-on mounting required us to remove the original clip bracket.

The Socket AM2 mounting bracket attaches to the cooler base using four screws, and the new support plate slips into position.

Sunon's thermal compound has a clay-like consistency, making it impossible to spread. We wiped small beads of it onto the CPU heat spreader and test-fit the cooler to check for even application.

Four screws secure the cooler/mounting bracket to the underside support plate.
