Unusual: fan and system control on the Aopen board.

The Silent PC tool is convincing with an abundance of features.
Now, a few words on CPU monitoring: in BIOS, the die temperature can be read out from the board using the diode and the board's sensors. This solution should convert even the technicians at Fujitsu-Siemens, who are usually drumming up business in the specialist press for their own developments. What's questionable is the benefit of the CD player integrated into the BIOS. It will probably only be used by one or two users - if they happen to discover it. What is useful is the option of upgrading the BIOS under Windows XP - that's a long way from being standard. The benchmark results show that Aopen is among the top three fastest candidates, if the DDR355 versions are not included in the equation.
