Totally Awesome Computers (TAC) offers a wide variety of systems including home and office, gaming, server, media center and digital video systems. TAC has brick and mortar stores all over the Salt Lake Valley in Utah. In addition to selling systems, they have a buyer's guide published by their founder that describes the components, brands and their warranty compared to the competition. The guide may not have the most up-to-date information, but it is certainly a good starting point for a beginner looking to spend quite a bit of his or her hard-earned riches.

Interestingly, it is impossible to order your computer from the company's Website. With TAC you cannot even price out a system online. This is because they have a sales department staffed 24/7. You can either speak to them or leave a contact number to be called back within 48 hours. This is a practice we are finding more and more common with high-end system builders. They want to talk directly to their customers and find out their needs in order to steer them to the product that specifically meet their needs. It is better to do this than to have a customer purchase items or a system that they don't need.
