The TWINX DIMM pair we used from prominent manufacturer Corsair does not support ideal timings, but is approved for up to DDR550. This is a good foundational basis for increasing the HyperTransport clock speed, as memory clock speed naturally goes up along with it.

We also remembered to use a modern graphics card for making a meaningful comparison between Intel's Pentium 4 and Athlon 64 systems based on Socket 939, especially for gaming purposes.
