Setting Up The Microsoft ISCSI Initiator

First we have to define a Target Portal or an iSCSI Server.

Next, we choose a Target on the iSCSI Server and log on.

Like Adaptec, Microsoft offers the option of reestablishing the connection to the Target after every reboot.

Done: The iSCSI connection is now active.

The result is as desired: a new drive has been integrated on our test bed system via iSCSI.
