USB Key With Wireless Charm: Gigabyte GN-WLBZ201

A USB memory key is nothing new, nor is a wireless LAN adapter for USB ports. But the combination of those two functions results in significant added value - after all, it's not a rare occasion when you want to take some project data with you or integrate a PC into an existing network with as little trouble as possible. The WLBZ201 masters both functionalities in stylish compact form.
Wireless networks continue to be all the rage - Intel didn't boost the throughput performance of its own Centrino technology from 11 to 54 MBit/s for nothing. In fact, wireless LANs are convenient and affordable. Already you can own a DSL router with integrated Ethernet switch and WLAN access point beginning at $100.
At home, what could be better than working on your laptop outside on the deck in the summer, or finally being able to move that second tower up to the loft without running so many cables?
So much for the virtues of wireless LAN - but the WLBZ201 is also a full-function USB memory key at the same time. Depending on the model, the device stores between 32 and 256 MB of data.
