E-Color is a monitor calibration tool. Its two components, Indicator and 3Deep, are well suited to both CRTs and TFTs. While 3Deep is used to adjust the gamma setting for games, Indicator's job is color calibration of the monitor by comparing the current color profile with reference images from the Internet (more information at www.ecolor.com). Without an Internet connection, however, the process is very annoying, and the tool does not accept the new profile.

Norton Internet Security provides protection against viruses and anti-spam functionality, well as additional security-relevant settings for the Internet connection and browsers.

MediaRing Dialer is basically a VoIP client, which can be used to make calls on the PC. More information can be found at www.mediaring.com.
