The EVGA7800 GT PCI Express card runs at a core frequency of 425 MHz, compared to the NVIDIA specification of 400 MHz. The card comes with 256 MB of GDDR3 RAM, running on a 256-bit memory bus at 1.07 GHz (DDR).

It uses the single slot cooling apparatus that is standard on most NVIDIA 7800 series cards, and provides adequate cooling for the graphics processor and the memory modules. As a result, this is a quiet cooler even when operating in 3D mode.
