Benchmark Results

3DMark05

We tested 3DMark05 at all resolutions, with antialiasing and anisotropic filtering disabled during the primary run. The second time around, we improved image quality by setting 4xAA and 8xAF. Clearly, the overclocked systems from ABS and Falcon Northwest posted the highest numbers during the first run, at a resolution of 1024x768. Coming in third was the iBuypower CrossFire system with a score of 16,512. At higher resolutions, the CrossFire systems post much higher scores than those of the Quad systems, or the Monarch with its overclocked GeForce 7900GTX in SLI. Comparing the identical systems from iBuypower, it is clear to see that CrossFire Radeon X1900s are faster than SLI or Quad SLI at all of the test settings.
