Doom 3
Doom 3 is the OpenGL engine for several games. At its inception it was the nastiest engine on graphics cards due to its lighting and shadowing techniques. Since then the graphics card makers have done well to add more units to satisfy the demands of the engine, and then some. With antialiasing disabled the engine is bound by what the system can send to the graphics cards, so for system tests, this can show us how fast a system is compared to another one. Clearly the system setup and overclocking in the builds by Falcon Northwest and Biohazard yields much higher frame rates.
