Corsair was the first company to send us DDR3 memory. First batches are rated DDR3-1066 and only for average timings. We are sure that there will be enthusiast parts within few months for now. Corsair is almost ready to send us DDR3 memory for DDR3-1333 speeds, although it will take many months until this will get anywhere close to affordable.

New Core 2 Processors For FSB1333: E6x50
There will be at least four new processors that benefit from the accelerated bus speed:
| Core 2 Extreme X6850 | 3.0 GHz | Quad Core | FSB1333 |
| Core 2 Duo E6850 | 3.0 GHz | Dual Core | FSB1333 |
| Core 2 Duo E6750 | 2.66 GHz | Dual Core | FSB1333 |
| Core 2 Duo E6650 | 2.33 GHz | Dual Core | FSB1333 |
Intel will launch three new Core 2 Duo models at 2.33, 2.66 and 3.0 GHz, and the current top model, the Core 2 Extreme QX6800 quad core at 2.93 GHz, will be replaced by a Core 2 Extreme QX6850, which basically runs at FSB1333 instead of FSB1066. It will only receive a small clock speed boost, but it will replace all other Extreme Edition processors, as the advent of a 3.0 GHz Core 2 Duo doesn't leave room for any Extreme Editions below this performance level.
The E6750 and the E6650 will be rated at a TDP of 65 W, while the E6850 will be rated at 75 W. The new Extreme Edition fully utilizes the maximum power draw of 130 W according to the information we have at this point.
