Where should buyers turn to figure out the maximum capacities supported by their systems? Several manufacturers have so-called "memory configurators" that contain complete compatibility listings for most current systems. We tried several of them, and have described our results below. Apacer Memory Search

Apacer's configurator uses a very short process to find the correct part number for most OEM systems. It also provides motherboard-specific searches, but the list of supported motherboard brands is very short.

Unfortunately, Apacer doesn't link to an online store, nor does it provide a list of vendors for selected products. This leaves buyers needing to use other search engines to find the referenced part numbers.
