The QuickCam Orbit comes with a software package designed to get the most out of the hardware. The whole thing hangs together in a run utility with the camera's six main functions: instant messaging and video-mail, video and photo capture, image management, Webcam session creation and Orbit configuration and settings.

The video-mail option calls the utility called Quick Capture or else the image management program. The first is for capturing videos or photos on the fly, and the other, "My Logitech Pictures", is for selecting the sequences or snaps you want to attach to your email. My Logitech Pictures also has clearly marked buttons and very well-designed ergonomics to capture images and send them as email attachments. What's more, it runs printout and ensures access to MSN Messenger and Yahoo Photos. This is a free registration service that hosts photo albums to share with other members of the community or of a public chosen by the user.
The choice of software is very intelligent, but the commercial side has not been forgotten. There is a button pointing Print Service and another that sends you to a site where you can illustrate an Ebay ad with a video.
