The value “fps per watt” shows the efficiency of the combination of the HD 4870 X2 graphics card and CPU. The higher the value, the more frames per second (3D performance) you’ll get per watt (energy cost). For the calculation we use the overall result (fps) and the power consumption (watts) in 3D mode.
This table can only give you an overview, because the actual performance in real life depends on the resolution and not on the overall result of an entire benchmark suite. The results are just for this situation, and depend on the test system and the used graphics driver.
