Radeon X1900XTX à la Diamond Multimedia and Viking
Test Setup & Performance
We tested at resolutions of 1024x768 (CRT monitors and older LCDs), 1280x1024 (17" and 19" flat panels) and 1600x1200 (20"+ displays). At a 1024x768 resolution, we tested without anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering and 4x AA and 8x AF settings. The other resolutions we did with these features enabled.
The highest-end GeForce 7950 GX2 and Quad-SLI cards only make sense for resolutions of 2048x1536 or 2560x1600. This requires large-size LCDs and kick-butt systems.
