The new mainstream Radeon: The 9000 series

In addition to the coming top product R300 (alias Radeon 9700), ATI is launching a successor to the mainstream 7500 series, which goes by the name Radeon 9000. Apart from a version with a moderate clock rate, there will also be a faster 9000 PRO version on the market. ATI has already released a test sample of the Radeon 9000, although it has not yet released a test sample of the Radeon 9700. We were able to take a look at the Radeon 9000 PRO. -
