3dMark 2005 showed us more of what the gaming benchmarks demonstrated. It's a little surprising that the Photon XLX doesn't sport a notable advantage at higher resolutions since it's using the 640 MB version of the 8800 GTS, while our budget PC is using the 320 MB version.

Specviewperf results are close, but a little anomalous here and there. Then again, with different video cards, platforms and Windows Vista thrown in for good measure; it's a miracle they're not more out of whack.
