Doom 3 shows a similar pattern except for the fact that the XFX GeForce 7600GT is able to beat PNY and EVGA 7800 cards. This is clearly from the clock speeds on the card. The GeForce 6 and 7 series cards were built to play Doom 3 based games well and you can see that even the lowest card on the totem pole can beat its stronger brothers sometimes. This is the last time we see the clock speeds from XFX GeForce 7600GT surface again. One more thing to point out comes from the PNY GeForce 7900GTX, which is able to handle 30 frames a second at full 2560x1600 resolution.
