Thermal management: once reserved for CPUs, it's now moving into graphics chips. When a certain critical threshold temperature has been reached, the VPU is slowed down. This process can put a damper on performance, but it raises system stability.

The NVIDIA Media Center is created as an icon in the lower right-hand corner of the Windows taskbar. It basically contains the same functions, such as classic driver tasks, and is only intended to enhance usability.

NVIDIA supplies a special plugin driver for 3D Studio Max that answers to the name of MAXTREME. The version 4.0.28 (and higher) signifies support for the QuadroFX series.
