SPECviewperf 8
SPEC's Viewperf 8 is an collection of numerous 3-D sequences taken from professional applications.
SPECviewperf 8 is the latest professional 3-D benchmark suite by the SPEC Group. It includes sequences from the 3DS Max 6, Maya 6, Maya 5, Pro Engineer, Solid Edge V14 and SolidWorks 2005. It goes without saying that this benchmark requires a fast graphics card and a powerful CPU.

Installation
The source file begins the installation process.
Settings
Nothing needs to be adjusted; however, a resolution of 1280x1024 is recommended so that all scenes appear in full screen mode.
Benchmarking
Each part of the SPECviewperf Suite can be run separately; you'll find the necessary links in the start menu. By selecting the batch file 'Run_All' you can start all tests straight away; upon completion, a text file appears with the results.
