Network diagnosis: Windows recognizes a network program, and then tries to fix it.

When a broadband modem problem is identified, Windows suggests briefly disconnecting that modem from the network, so that it will reset itself.

The diagnosis includes a summary of previous steps and also a report on whether the problem has been solved or not.

Back to work: the modem restored to proper operation.

When problems persist, the Assistant springs back into action.
