CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850

We took a higher-end mainstream Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0 GHz processor for our price comparison.

The cheapest place to buy a Core 2 Duo E6850 processor on December 2 was Germany at a converted net price of 176 euros or almost $260. However, if value-added tax or sales tax is added, Australia and the United States are the cheapest consumer market if you're interested in this particular processor. Overall, the price difference was only about 10%.
