The Asus Maximus Formula provides the best Call of Duty 2 frame rates at stock speed, though its slight 0.2% "stock speed" overclock is probably responsible. Coming in second place at stock speed is the P35 comparison board, while superior overclocking capabilities give the GA-X38-DQ6 a lead at the CPU's highest stable speed.

The Maximus Formula again wins in F.E.A.R.'s built-in benchmark, and this time by more than its tiny default overclock. The GA-X38-DQ6's top overclock only brought it to a tie with the Asus performance monster at the CPU's highest stable speed.

With Quake 4, Asus again takes a slight gaming lead, followed surprisingly by the Foxconn X38A. But while the X38A showed great potential, awesome overclocking put the GA-X38-DQ6 on top when pushed to the CPU's limit.

What happened to this motherboard? I don't see it for sale at places like tigerdirect. Newegg say it's discontinued. Has it been replaced by a newer model or something?
