Abit announced its AW9D and AW9D-MAX motherboards which can be used with Intel's current LGA775 processors such as the Pentium D and Core 2 Duo as well as future quad-core versions of the Core 2 Extreme CPU ("Kentsfield"). -

Abit has released a new motherboard in its popular Fatal1ty gaming line. The AN9 32X motherboard will support AMD's new socket AM2 processors and will have two full speed X16 PCI Express lanes. Four DDR2 memory slots can support up to 8 gigabytes of RAM running at 800 Mhz. There are also two Gigabit Ethernet ports along with two Firewire ports. -
