CPU Charts 2004
It's finally here - a true performance comparison between AMD and Intel processors. This will allow ambitious users as well as OEM partners and especially dealers to compare their systems with our reference values. What's special about this is a feature that it lets you directly compare two different CPUs of your choice. Simply select the desired models and a benchmark, and the appropriate chart appears. The two CPUs are displayed in the diagrams as specially marked red bars. Shown at the very bottom is also some important additional information: the absolute and relative difference between the two models. If you click on any of the bars on the chart, a pop-up window appears with data about that particular test configuration we used.

Intel to introduce Celeron M 410 series for embedded applications

On 28 May, the day when the Intel 65nm Celeron D CPU lineup is set to be launched and the chip giant's expected price cuts for Core Duo processors takes place, Intel will add the Celeron M 410 to augment its current low-end 65nm Celeron M CPU offerings, according to sources at motherboard makers.

Intel today announced that it will offer support for 64-bit applications in its entry-level Celeron D processor line. The first chip to offer EM64T extensions is the 3.2 GHz Celeron D 351.
Intel to start shipping dual-core Celeron M CPUs in small volumes in Q4

Reinforcing its lineup of entry-level 64-bit dual-core processors, Intel plans to start small-volume shipments of two 65nm Celeron M CPUs, the Celeron M 520 and the Celeron M 530, in the fourth quarter of this year, with mass shipments scheduled for the following quarter, according to sources at Taiwan notebook makers.
