Need help with FSB:dRAM ratio
- Forum
is, how do I set the FSB:DRAM ratio in the BIOS? All I can do is select one of 667/800/AUTO in the DRAM frequency drop down menu. Don't see an option to specifically set the ratio. All the guides talk of setting FSB:DRAM ratio to 1:1. If I could do that...

FSB:DRAM Ratio Locked?
- Forum
in both the FSB/DRAM ratio nor the DRAM frequency itself. Much help greatly appreciated! That suggests a paradox if neither the ratio or the DRAM frequency values have changed. Look for a reference frequency option where you found the DRAM frequency...

DRAM Settings

FSB:DRAM ratio at 5:8 only required loosening its timings slightly. Meanwhile, the Core 2 Duo E6750's low 8x maximum CPU multiplier required a super high bus speed with a lower 2:3 FSB:DRAM ratio to maintain reasonably-short latency settings. ...

Slow down RAM to achieve the ratio?
- Forum
Slow down RAM to achieve the ratio?. I've got an i7 860 @ 3.2Ghz (160Mhz, x20, QPI: 2560Mhz) and 4GB of DDR3 RAM @ 1600Mhz. CPU-Z says my FSB:DRAM ratio is 2:10 right now. If I slow down my RAM to 1333Mhz, will I maintain the same speed while putting less...

just run the memory tests without first setting up your memory in your BIOS even though they might be auto configured. This usually entails the user to specify the timings, voltage, and fsb:dram divider prior to running the tests since the memory might be...

Help me overclock my Q9550
- Forum
my FSB/DRAM ratio is set to 5:6. It seems like it's pegged to that ratio because even at my stock speed, all defaults in BIOS with a 333 FSB, I get a 400mhz DRAM speed in CPU-Z. When I OC to 400 FSB, I get a DRAM speed of 480mhz - too fast for my RAM I think....
