Despite MMC Association and JEDEC collaboration, Samsung still dominates MMC platform

With the MultiMediaCard Association (MMCA) and JEDEC recently announcing they will collaborate to develop a joint set of MMC memory card standards, Taiwan memory card makers expect the partnership to help counter the growing power of Samsung Electronics on the MMC platform, according to local memory card makers.
