great res for me. I don't need or want super high resolutions. Just try to operate in your LCD's native res as much as possible. I'd pay $289.99 for an NEC 1970GX over at CDW for a good gaming monitor. Dont waste your money on something like Hans G....

3850 vs 8600GT

greatest drivers the 3850 generally does substantially better than the 8600GT. Considering the pricepoints of both cards the 3850 is the one to buy. Mind you if you're planning on running high resolution games with settings cranked (I.e. exceeding 1680x1050.)...

could handle the native resolution of a 32", but even more so my wallet couldn't handle all that monitor :P But are you trying to say prices will drop on the LCD market a little bit more in 08? Do yourself a favor and shoot for the 245bw. It's a great monitor.....
