Intel nixes 2.8 GHz P4, renames "Pentium 4 with EM64T support"

Spring cleaning in Intel's product line-up: The company said it will remove Pentium 4 workstation and server processors that carry the EM64T add-on and sell the chips from now on as part of the Pentium 500 series. The 2.80 GHz version of the desktop processor retires.
