with the Radeon 4890. It may not be 100% increase but it will be a pretty good increase. If your card is fine for the games you play right now, then you may just want to wait till the DX11 cards roll around, or until there is a really good sale on the 4890...

don't have a good gpu, i only have a ati hd 3650 and i need something better for gaming. My display is a 22" 1680x1050 resolution. I have a friend who has a hd 4890 for sale (tha his model with stock cooling) and it happens it's the same price as a gtx 275....

the 5870, when no games today (or probably in the next 5 months) take full advantage of this card. The one nice thing is the DX11, yet again, nothing on the market needs this card right now. I'm sure 4890 sales are going to jump up...but almost 400 dollars...
