The only problems would be on network/hardware level, i guess. Registering all the bullets and hitboxes would require allot. I think the server hardware aren't up to it right now. Point click games dont have that problem, even though allot of people are in the server, it is just sending one command every few seconds instead of 30 bullets every few seconds with an FPS.
Correct me please if i'm wrong.
The gameplay isn't the problem in my opinion.
