Cooler Master’s Chassis Lineup Goes Agile with CM Storm Stryker

Cooler Master, an industry-leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer; has debuted its CM Storm Stryker full-tower chassis that was built with agility in mind.

Stryker is the  second in its product class to include an ultra-strong carrying handle,  allowing gamers to travel with the finest system configurations available with relative ease. CM Storm Stryker includes features that are most coveted by gaming enthusiasts in that it has a stylish glossy black-and-white finish on the case and includes fans, a windowed side panel, a full-dust filter, a fan controller, an external SSD drive hot-swap dock, and two uniquely designed modular hard drive cages. These features mean that the CM Storm Stryker can more than handle the needs of water-cooled gaming as well as more everyday workstation requirements.

Cutting-edge Innovations

Things heat up as gaming becomes more intense. The included front-panel connections and controls allow users to make on-the-fly changes to fan speeds and case LEDs, while USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports and audio connections are also provided as an added means of convenience. This is topped off by a 2.5” HDD/SSD X-dock that makes mounting extra drives as easy as it is to load a Blu-ray DVD. Changing settings at a moment’s notice becomes a simple matter of a quick-button press with CM Storm Stryker. Case LEDs also glow white to add to the overall feel of the new design.

Versatile Configurations

CM Storm Stryker contains two modular HDD cages, which can hold four HDDs and a 120 mm fan for cooling. These modular units can be rotated  front to back or side to side and removed altogether. Like its predecessor the Trooper, the CM Storm Stryker can accommodate fully modular hard drive configuration with no modification required. CM Storm Stryker can also support multiple water-cooling radiators. It is even possible to get creative by mounting a vertical water-cooling radiator by removing the hard drive cages and panels.

CM Storm Stryker has nine expansion slots for multi graphics cards in SLI or Crossfire mode, enough room for up to 14 hard drives, and a motherboard tray that supports a wide range of  sizes, including larger XL-ATX components. The Stryker is an ideal arsenal for the most advanced system and cooling setups that is also easy to carry around.

Cable Management and Storage

Finding room for cables is not a problem since the CM Storm Stryker has many cable tie zones and cable management holes. The case also offers well engineered and larger areas for cables that the competition does not provide with alternative designs.

As a way to reduce installation time, many types of hardware can be mounted tool-free with the use of the included locking mechanisms or trays. CM Storm Stryker side panels have been greatly improved to provide an increased area for different cable-management possibilities. Prepare for the unexpected with a hidden drawer placed behind a false panel. When removed, the bottom panel reveals a storage drawer to keep private effects safe from prying eyes until they are needed.
