How do I set up Netgear Wireless Router

We have been experiencing network difficulties whenever we are signed in to our PS3's. We lose connection almost immediately. But it shows that its an "open" network and has no password. How can I set up a password?

Netgear routers usually come with a wireless key already set unless it's an old model. You can set up a wireless key by going into the router's web-based configuration utility and going to the wireless section. Set the password then click "Apply" or "Save" and close the utility.

You must do the above using a wired connection to the router (ethernet) not a wireless one.
