Hello and good day to all of you!

So I have been getting this error from time to time and i don't know why, When this happens I usually check restart the program and it solves it in like 5 seconds but I rather fix the error, I use cleaning software like Advanced System Care Pro 7.3 and Reg Clean Pro (every 3 days or so) and from time to time like every two weeks I use Perfect Disk 10, For a anti-virus I use Bit Defender Total Security and Malwarebytes anti-malware for Malwares and such and i update all my drivers regularly with Driver Reviver or Driver Booster! I have the most recent net framework , direct x , Runtime, Visual C++ but i don't really do windows updates...

Solution
The WD Green is slower, but will probably last longer, there's no other differences between the two.

I would Install Windows on the new drive while the old one is unplugged (so that you don't accidentally install over the old files) and then just manually copy everything from the old drive to the new one once both of them are attached to the PC.

Actually this seems more likely since you said you run some driver update program. Well that can get you into trouble as sometime the drivers are modified by the computer maker so it's not always best to update drivers from the component manufacturer. It's best to leave the drivers at the current version on the manufacturers website especially if the computer is still under warranty.

It doesn't happen that often and i cant really afford a new one since i bought a new graphics card :S
Is there really no other solution?

Sorry, If it's failing there's not much you can do. If you want to get the most out of the drive, backup all your important files (family photos, work stuff, etc) to somewhere like Dropbox or Google drive and use the drive until it fails.

You can also check the manufacturer's website for HDD health check utilities if you want to be extra sure, but these can be inaccurate and overlook some serious issues.

You could also try this: http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html

In any case, I recommend making the backups.
