Hi there! I'm having a slight issue, I just overlocked my i5 3570k with a h80i to 4.3ghz, And it is not showing up under my system properties, it will show up in task manager as 4.25ghz, But i would like it to show up in system properties, i did notice something though, In task manager in performance it says "maximum speed" 3.4ghz, so can i not change that? Thanks Max.

Some programs just go by the NAME of the CPU so that will never change.

My i7-3770K still shows up as "3.5GHz" in Task Manager and I'm running it at 4.4GHz. In fact, you can see the actual CPU frequency under "speed". You may not have Speedstep running any longer but if you did it would be changing the frequency unless you were doing something intensive.

You are getting the proper performance so it's not an issue.
