What is newegg open box

I am thinking of buying a laptop from newegg that is $400 dollars off its orginal price. It says open box but I don't know if I should trust it. What does open box mean, will it be used, and will it come with the power cable at least please answer thanks

It is something that has been returned for some reason, and it should include all parts and manuals that came with it originally. They might have not liked the keyboard or the color!

Will it have any signs of wear on it or will it be relatively new

Most times no but read the fine print it may or may not be missing something ...I have never bought a open box from newegg but I have bought refurbish before and it came with almost everything but I had to contact corsair for 1 part and they where great and sent it to me.
