Hello, I'm having issues with my Lenovo z575 (Windows 10) and its wireless adapter: Ralink RT3090 802.11n

My computer can run ethernet, but I cannot detect any wireless networks and claims that "no networks are available" despite the fact that I have 3 other devices that can connect to my home wifi.

I've tried updating my Ralink drivers, but I don't think they're doing anything.

Ralink doesn't show up in my Network Adapters tab in Device Manager, even with hidden view on.

A wireless adapter doesn't show up in my "Network Connections" despite the fact that my ethernet, bluetooth, and VPN networks do (bluetooth and VPN are disabled)

I've tried a lot of the conventional solutions to no avail, and I'm pretty sure this is an issue with hardware or at least my Ralink wireless adapter is being disabled (I'm running my laptop on high performance, but I can't directly edit the wireless adapter since it doesn't show up in the Device Manager)

I've system restored to a date before I was encountering problems with my wifi, but nothing changed.

I've open my laptop up and the wireless adapter seems just fine, doesn't look damaged, tampered with, or "out of place"

Any advice, tips or solutions? It would be much appreciated.

Solution
If the wireless adapter isn't listed in Device Manager, and there are no error symbols against any device in there, I would say your wireless adapter has died despite looking undamaged (it can pack up without showing any external signs of damage).

Try an external USB wireless adapter.
