Guys, do you think a Micro ATX motherboard would limit the performance of an i5 8400 or an i5 8500? Are Micro ATX motherboards bad for 1080p gaming? Do I really need a full ATX motherboard for an i5 8400?
Every motherboard (H310/B360/H370/Z370) will allow for the auto turbo boost on the CPU's that support it (8500 being one of them) however since the CPU is locked it won't allow the MCE or overclocking. If that's something you want I'd look at the 8600K/Z370.
M.2 slots, SLI compatibility, CPU overclocking, etc...
B360M-A does have m.2 slots, but not the others. Also is MCE possible with the i5 8500? If so, is it possible with this motherboard? If not, which mobo would you recommend?
