Not sure if this is the right forum, but either way, I have a Rosewill Glacier 500w 80+ bronze, also my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7r7f9J I am trying to get a HD 7970 but PC part picker says I need another 8 pin connector. But in my hand is a 8pin to 2 x 6+2, (8 pin going into the PSU) is this just a glitch or am I missing something? Do I need a better PSU? Thanks!

No I already have the entire build except the graphics card, I already have the PSU installed and it says the PSU is already SLI Crossfire ready so it should have the connectors for just 1 right?

I think it’s just some information mismatch . But yea, the psu is quite ... yea. Next upgrade. The only concern is that you are trying to draw 175w - 300w from 2x8 pin from what looks like a 3 wire of awg 18, wire, it is going to degrade pretty fast

Not sure what you mean by 3 wire, the cord has 8 wires, one for each pin I assume and it says 300v on it. And I'm not sure why it's such a bad PSU, I haven't had a problem with it and it's really quiet.
