I just finished my new build:

Ryzen 5 2600 w wraith fan
Gtx 1060
Corsair vengeance 3000 8gb x 2
B350 tomahawk brand new

Now i put everything together and started her up. Everything in the pc turns on but nothing on display it does not enter bios, screen says no signal, no error lights on mobo jus ram light turns on for 2 seconds and goes away which i believe is okay.

Could it be the motherboard is not compatible with the cpu without an update. The motherboard is brand new never used or updated so it would potentially be the the very first version.

-I have tried booting outside the case very barebones

- tried using single stick of ram in every slot then repeat with the other stick

- used differant psu cables

-Used differant hdmi dvi cables

- plugged into monitor and my tv aswell

-took mobo battery out for 10 mins and put back

All the parts are brand new so i dont really know which part is wrong.

I am not really good at computers and this was my first shot I hope i can get this thing working.

Solution
B350 boards are not compatible with 2000 series Ryzen chips without a BIOS update.

You;'d need a compatible CPU to flash the BIOS to make it compatible...... or return the board and buy an X470
