i7 8700k oc cooling

Hello!
I am struggling with my pc build and i would like any advice you can give me!
I have a Corsair 200r case and i ordered new parts
I7 8700k
Asrock z370 fatality k6 gaming
G.skill 3200hz cl14 trident z
evga 750watt
samsung evo 860 500gb
And my big question is: I have ordered for cpu cooling Noctua D14 but everything i read for Overclocking is about Noctua D15 i could order this one but i have to buy a new case too cause it doesnt fit with close side panel, it worth the difference or Noctua D14 will do the job?
I would like to Oc to 5ghz nothing more.

The D15 is just a larger, newer companion to the D14. The D14 was the leading cooler for air OCs for the longest time, it is still a fantastic cooler. Plus you already ordered it.
The difference would not be worth buying a new case.

I have two NH-D14s for my primary and backup gaming rigs. They can still be bought but are the same price as its D15 replacement as explained above. We are only talking about a 1-2C improvement in cooling between the two, so definitely do not spend money on a new case just to fit a newer NH-D15 in there. You'd need to go water if you wanted real improvement and you are doing very extreme overclocking. I consider my overclocking (see my sig) as very high but not extreme (5GHz plus). I was able to get my 4690K stable at 4.9GHz using 1.365v and hitting 75C in stress testing with the NH-D14, but I wanted longevity out of it and throttled back to 4.7GHz.

in my country they have about 20 euros difference D15 being at 100 euros and D14 at 80 euros.
And definitely if they have only 1-2c difference it not worthing cause i will need to give plus 100 euros -150 just for 1-2c.
You have any water solution to suggest?
