Greetings all,

I went out and purchased this build. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

Motherboard

MSI - B350M GAMING PRO Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

Memory

Patriot - Viper Elite 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133

Storage

Silicon Power - Slim S55 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card

Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB WINDFORCE OC 6G Video Card

Power Supply

Thermaltake - Smart Pro RGB 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

So we get all the parts here, put it together, and we can't get any power. We can't get any power at all. When we plug it in (surge protector), I'm not seeing anything light up on the motherboard at all. The GPU doesn't light up, and we're pressing the power button. I'm worried that it may have been a bad power supply, but we're completely lost. I called two other people in on the issue and I can't figure out why we can get no power to the motherboard.

We tried to re-seat all of the power cords. We've double-checked initial Motherboard connections. Nothing when we hit the power button still.

I've been trying to find out where the motherboard power LEDs are located on this board but nothing has lit up at all. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

My first suspicion in the power supply and am getting another one in there to test it out in the morning. Next step would be checking the motherboard once we rule the power supply out as the issue. Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can walk it through?

Sorry to say, but this system is so not worth the price and a horrible combination.

nontheless, the partslist would be like: (should be very equal, but some details of your system were missing to create the list)

Case, CPU and the fan of the power supply is not spinning too?

Try starting the power supply alone (paper clip test), will work like the video below, but would plug in the HDD, so the power supply has some load.

use the reset button instead the power button of your case, plug the reset into the power connection of your board

plug in minimum configuration:
motherboard, CPU with cooler and fan, power supply (ATX main power connector and ATX12V...

if this won´t work, plug in the GTX1060 with PCIe power connectors plugged into it and the monitor into this one

Could be that this motherboard needs a BIOS update to run with this newest gen CPU/APU 2400G

take some pictures

edit:
Is the main power switch on "1" ? on the back of your power supply? not the circled fan switch, but the 1 and 0 switch on the left in this picture

Make sure that those little tiny thin led motherboard pins are connected in the correct order or else the mobo will not turn on and supply power to any other components. If you look in your manual you should be able to find what you're looking for. It should look like this. Hope this helped!
