I am going to build a ryzen PC and i am on a budget so i do not know which choice is better.
Here they are -
Ryzen 5 2600, 2x4gb 2400mhz ram
or
Ryzen 5 1600, 2x4gb 3200mhz ram

I already have the other parts - GTX 1060 and a B350 motherboard.
I have plans of overclocking!
I am not a content creator - I will use the PC for gaming

Be aware that Ryzen systems benefit from faster RAM. So always get better RAM for it. Just dont forget to enable the RAM profile in BIOS to the actual speed of it (Since when you assemble it it will be default speed of 2133MHz).There is no huge difference between those 2 CPU's they are both capable, and with 1060 it will work like charm. So do enjoy your PC.

Right and for the future when I overclock and I get a better GPU the results of slow ram will be shown. Also I forgot that when I overclock the r5 2600 i need better cooling to hit 4.0, 4,1, while I have the opportunity to overclock the r5 1600 with box cooling up to 3.9, 4.0 if i am lucky enough
