Hello, has anyone tried to use the 450w integra sfx psu that come with the Fractal Design Nano S.

I know i would have to get a sfx to atx adapter, but what im wondering is if the power cables are long enough, mainly looking at the 24 pin motherboard cable, has anyone tried this? if anything i can get an extension, I would like to use the sfx psu though because the psu sits extremely close to the graphics card in the nano s, so with the sfx psu and the adapter that can give the gpu a little extra breathing room.

Solution

Cables will be too short. Just get a regular psu. There is breathing room and over half of most cards will not be blocked by the psu. You can also flip the psu with the fan up to create some airflow there.

Don't you mean flip it so that it faces downwards? Because flipping it upwards will make the PSU and the GPU fight for air don't you think?

Btw, OP You can use a founders edition GPU or any card with a blower style cooler if you think the gpu does not have breathing room.
