NAS- Should I upgrade my ram or get an SSD for CACHE

I just got a Synology DS918+ and I'm trying to figure out if I should upgrade the RAM from 4gb to 8gb or if I should buy the 256GB SSD pci for read/write cache. Any "educated" opinions?

RAM first.

At least that's what I did with my QNAP.
Came with 4GB, upgraded to 8, then to 16.

I tried it for a little while with a 128GB SSD as the cache drive, and didn't see a whole lot of difference.
