Yesterday I reinstalled my cousin's computer with Win 10 (from win 7) but after installation the internet sped was really slow (max 300 kbps download vs. 5+ MB/s before). I updated the wifi adapters driver, the lan card driver. I suspect its a network problem because they get their internet in a complicated way via Wifi (subnetworks or sth I'm no expert) from their neighbor and when I connected to my cellphone's Hotspot the speed was normal (2-3 MB/s). However the neighbors say its our fault, and that they see someone downloading with 8 MB/s on our side) I checked and there was no updates downloading so I don't see it (and the fact that when I joined other another network the speed was fine also contradicts this). I asked them to restart the router so that might fix the problem but according to them "it's difficult" and weren't very cooperative.
Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this?
