I am upgrading my current pc and am just looking for a good cpu cooler around 40-50 pounds. i don't expect too much for the budget but hope to get one that is effective. Just remembered, has to be am4. Its a ryzen 5 1600x cpu and a Phanteks Eclipse P300 Glass Midi Tower Case is that helps.

For your budget range, look for the Scythe Mugen 5 (SCMG-5100; the 5000 is earlier production without AM4 bracket) or the Scythe Fuma (SCFM-1100; the 1000 is earlier production without AM4 bracket), Because they're basically within a few degrees of the bigger twin air tower at almost half the price.

Price-to-performance wise, if you need more cooling than either the above options, you'd be looking at liquid cooler, not a different air tower.
