I need help for Wi-Fi Extender / Additional Router

Hello, as per title, can anyone recommend me any great WiFi extender? I'm currently looking at Netgear Nighthawk EX7000 and EX8000. Is there any other recommendations? Cheaper ones will be good too :)

And also, should i get an additional Router or just a WiFi Extender? Is there a difference between them?

The Netgear Nighthawk EX7000 is very good ...even the older Netgear EX6200 Range Extender.
I have purchased several used ones from eBay and they work pretty good. Just make sure to reset them before configuring it.
