Just begon with vr and played it on my pc, then I moved my setup for a better space, stuck all cables back in my pc , started up and fans spinning loudly from my watercooler checked on BIOS and my CPU temp was 87°. Help appreciated edit: specs: CPU: Intel i5 graphics card: gtx1060 cooling :Corsair h100i I don't think the others matter

Make sure the water cooler is secured properly on the CPU. You can always try reapplying thermal paste again and securing the cpu block. Any Overclocking? In the BIOS, do you have the pump running at full speed? CPU fan or CPU OPT connections? You can always try disassembling the fans on the radiator and cleaning the radiator with either can of air or cotton wipes. Those things attract dust like crazy. It's almost mandatory to schedule time to clean the radiator. I perform mine every 3 - 6 months and I can tell you that dust on the radiator will cause the CPU to overheat.

The only other thing that it would be (after trying the above) is that the liquid pump is failing. It's very common with Corsair liquid coolers. Hope this...

Could you post your system specs?
Is that a new build?
Have you checked to make sure the pump is receiving power?
