Just built a new pc and everytime I try connecting to the router through Wi-Fi and enter the password it just says can't connect to this network. My drivers are up to date. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, adding the connection manually, made sure the the connection had the same security protocol and was the same network type. I've restarted the modem and router and still nothing. I've released and renewed the ip. When I enter the cmd and type in ipconfig, all it says is media disconnected from all of the adapters including Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth. How do I get on the internet? It's really frustrating and I just want it to work at this point.

I've never dealt with motherboards that come with the antennas on the outside. I assumed this acted as a Wi-Fi extender of sorts but now I'm guessing these need to be installed in order to get Wi-Fi.
